  The passenger ekranoplan «Aquaglide-30» is the ekranoplan of Type A under the IMO classification, designed for transportation of 28 passengers with speed of 200 km/h on distance up to 700 km.

Type A ekranoplans capable of operating only at altitudes of the ground-effect.

Aquaglide 30

"Aquaglide-30". The basic layout and overal dimensions of passenger compartment.

The project “Aquaglide-30” is created on the base of patented by JSC “ATTK” design decisions. Technical offers of the leading Russian scientific research institutes as well as aviation, ship-building and radio-electronic companies are realized in this project. The basic technical, designing and operational parameters of the ekranoplan intended for transportation of 28 passengers on long sea lines have been defined. The passenger salon can combine configurations of various classes - business, tourist, the VIP, etc.

 “Aquaglide-30” possesses amphibian qualities, it capable to leave from water on coast, to move and make maneuvers on a land, to start both from a land, and from water. It is not required reconstruction of ports and build special moorings and other constructions for ekranoplan operation. The small coastal platform for parking, start on water, and disembarkation of passengers is enough to organize transportations by ekranoplan. In case of impossible to equip coastal platforms ekranoplan can be tied up at a usual wharf. Thank to high maneuverability ekranoplan capable to come into remote places with a complicated costal line. Shallows and shoal also are not a barrier for movement of ekranoplan.

The major advantage of “Aquaglide” ekranoplans before conventional vessels is all season operation – it ensure to continue navigation during the winter period when the water surface is held down by ice. Ice-breakers and a special equipment thus are not required. The site of an ice covered water surface or the stamped snow can serve as a platform for basing and start ekranoplan. Use reservoirs as transport highways during the winter period is capable to bring a huge economic benefit.

Ekranoplan “Aquaglide-30” can be used as for passenger, cargo and special transportations. Modifications of  “Aquaglide-30” can be applied in search and rescue operations, with a view of monitoring and environment protection, struggle against poaching, illicit transportations, in other special operations.

The WIG-craft ART-20  is the cargo WIG-craft of Type A under the IMO classification, designed for transportation of up to 10 tons of cargo on distance up to 120 km with speed of 100 km/h. Can be used for the delivery of fuel oil from the tanker to the shore terminal.

Passenger marine ekranoplans of MPE series

Type B under IMO classification

Passenger marine ekranoplans of MPE series are the ekranoplans of Type B under the IMO classification.

Type B ekranoplans are capable of increasing flight altitude above the “ground effect” zone for limited time and limited height.

Ekranoplans of MPE series are capable (in case of necessity) to increase flight altitude for flying over other watercraft, over obstacles or for other reasons. Maximum altitude of such “fly over” should be less than the minimum safe altitude of aircraft flight required by ICAO -150 m over sea.

Under ĢŠÅ projects predesign researches are executed, general-arrangement schemes for different classes of WIG-crafts, technical and operational parameters are determined. The contract design on the instructions of the customer will make from 3 till 5 years.
